Egg

Clare Atkins, Harrison Vial

A truly unique picture book about a newcomer arriving to an island inhabited by superstitious eggs.

An outstanding picture book that can be read at multiple levels, from the very young to adults. It is a fable, a deep metaphor with an other-world, although highly engaging, feel.

- Joy Lawn, Paperbark Words

Beautiful, poignant and thought-provoking, gently raising questions about displacement, the environment... xenophobia, friendship and kindess... I loved it.

- One More Page Podcast

A unique picture book, one of those special ones that looks like it is for the very young but which has issues and a message that span a much wider age group.
