Cheryl Leavy
Cheryl Leavy is a poet working in her Kooma Aboriginal language. She won the 2022 Oodgeroo Noonuccal Indigenous Poetry Prize for Ngali – We two, a poem about Blak love. Cheryl has served on several boards and is passionate about First Nations land rights and language revitalisation.
