Australian Scholarly Publishing Pty Ltd is an independent publisher (est. 1991) with two international imprints: Australian Scholarly (ASP) and Arden (general books), and three Australian imprints: Arcadia (general), Aspasia (feminist) and Tantanoola (new writing). ASP’s list covers the Humanities, Social Sciences & Environmental Sciences; the general imprints include non-fiction, fiction & artbooks. Around 80 books are released annually. Overall, ASP is strongly placed in History (Australian, Asian, Pacific, Maritime), Literature (Australian, International), Biography (Australian, International), and Indigenous Studies (Australian, Asia-Pacific).
