CSIRO Publishing has an internationally recognised, editorially independent books program publishing titles for academic, professional and trade audiences. We cover a wide range of subject areas including animal, plant and soil science as well as agriculture, sustainability and ecology.
We produce around 40 new books each year, and maintain a backlist of over 600 titles. Our growing children’s list is aimed at introducing young readers to themes in ecology, conservation and biology and igniting their curiosity and interest in science.
As well as books, we publish 27 peer-reviewed journals in animal, physical and plant sciences, health, agriculture and the natural environment, and Double Helix, a science magazine for kids aged 8-13 targeted at future STEM champions.
